Member Verification Program Status

Newell Equipment, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is among the 345 companies to date to achieve National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Member Verification Program (MVP) status.  MVP participants distinguish themselves by embracing the knowledge that is necessary to provide a high level of quality while meeting certain regulatory requirements.

We are pleased to participate in this program and hope that all members strive to be verified.  We take our business commitments very seriously, and this designation from the NTEA shows our customers that we strive for excellence in order to provide them with the best possible service.

According to NTEA President Tom Rawson, CEO of RKI, Inc. (Houston, TX), “The NTEA MVP is attempting to raise the overall level of professionalism within and throughout the truck body and equipment industry value chain.

The Program identifies  business practices common to successful companies and promotes increased professionalism by helping commercial and municipal truck equipment industry firms build more profitable, mutually beneficial and longer lasting relationships with their suppliers, distributors and customers.

Initially MVP participants have been asked to verify to the Association that they meet four out of five business processes and certain government criteria.  Over time, the NTEA will increase program requirements to encourage even higher standards through set criteria that must be met by Distributor and Manufacturer members in order to continue to qualify for MVP status.  Members must re-qualify every three years.

A total of 345 members achieved MVP status as of January 1, 2008.  The program was first introduced to NTEA members in May 2005.
